About Us

Eric Hansen founded Industrial Polymer Services in 2001 after years of selling high end epoxies. During his time in epoxy sales, he saw countless gallons of epoxies go to waste due to misuse of the products by inexperienced applicators, and he decided to do something about it. Combining his background in contracting with his deep knowledge of epoxy systems, Eric established IPS.

 

IPS began as an epoxy installation contractor for industrial applications.

Fast forward to 2025, and we have expanded into the commercial, medical, food service and residential industries and proficiently use a wide array of epoxies, urethanes and other resins to improve spaces and solve problems for our customers.

We are based in Virginia Beach, VA, but our crews have worked all over the east coast. From New York to Indiana down to Florida, we cover it all. Through working thousands of projects, we have quickly become one of the most experienced and versatile resin application companies in the Unites States.
